The Sanyo VPC-CS1 Dual Camera (Pink) is a pistol-grip style pocket camcorder armed with 1080i high-def recording capabilities and 8MP photos (interpolated, 3MP effective). The slim and unassuming CS1 records the footage it takes to SD/SDHC and high-capacity SDXC memory cards - giving you plenty of flash memory media options. It's also Eye-Fi compatible, which means wireless Eye-Fi SD cards can be used with the CS1 to wirelessly transmit your video and still images to a compatible computer.
The camera uses a 2.7" LCD for composition and review of footage on a wide platform. Other features like 10x Advanced Optical Zoom, a 38mm wide angle of view, and image stabilization all help play a role in recording your video and still images too. There's also Sound Zoom for enhanced audio quality. Other user-friendly features of the camera include high-speed sequential photo mode, Face Detection, and HDMI playback on your HDTV, among others.

The audio recording is focused more on the camera subject. The Zoom Combination Mode provides an automatic combination of the first two modes. When the user is shooting a wider angle shot they will get the advantages of the wide mode setting. Video and Photo Image Stabilizer
The CS1 features a new photo stabilizer. This technology actually takes two photos at the same time; one at a faster shutter speed and one at a slower shutter speed. The camera combines the benefits of both of shutter speeds, resulting in an image that has less blur and less noise.
Using a proprietary Sanyo algorithm, the CS1 automatically compensates for distracting up-and-down or side-to-side camera movement, keeping your video and photo subjects steady and easy to follow. It accurately distinguishes between unintentional camera shake and deliberate camera movement. This handy feature operates in both wide-angle and telephoto modes
Video and Photo Face Detection
